PM Modi’s Big Eastern Embrace; Opens India’s Largest Rail Road Bridge In Assam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the Bogibeel Bridge, India’s longest railroad bridge, on the birth anniversary of the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, December 25 which is observed as “Good Governance Day” by the Centre. The bridge connects the south bank of the Brahmaputra river in Assam’s Dibrugarh district with Silapathar in Dhemaji district, bordering Arunachal Pradesh. Modi, who flagged off the first train on the bridge, described its opening as a “historic” feat, and called it a lifeline for the people of Assam.

  1. I'm a Maoist. I dislike this video. Since past 20 years, We paid off Previous Corrupt Government Officials to stay away from our Area. Now my Maoist Comrades have no way to carry on Terrorist attacks because Indian Army which could not reach these areas, Can now reach here within few minutes.

To hell with Modi !!! Now we Maoists can't carry on our Operation of Break India !!!

  2. It's a pity he opened it on Christmas day, otherwise there would have been such a huge crowd of rice bags there to see him the soil for miles around wouldn't be able to be tilled for at least two years.
